Justin Bieber Leads Praise And Worship At Church For The First Time!

Christian pop superstar Justin Bieber led praise and worship at a church for the first time last Wednesday!

Justin posted a short video clip of the moment he sang at Churchome in Beverly Hills, California on his Instagram and talked about his “hard season” and how God pulled him through.

“Sang at church last night. God is pulling me through a hard season. Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is the absolute hardest. But he is faithful to complete what he started,” Justin said in his caption.

To Worship You I Live

He sang “To Worship You I Live” by Israel & New Breed and it was powerful worship! Justin also explained that he purposely never led worship at church before because he doesn’t want people to think like it is a show.

This day was a breakthrough for Justin and he even said in an interview that leading worship was more nerve-wracking than performing on big stages. He just wanted Jesus to be lifted up and not him.

Churchome Pastor Judah Smith has been a mentor to Bieber for many years and has helped the star leave behind his destructive bad-boy ways to become the man he is today. Smith said Bieber has “always” been a worshiper but felt the need to finally use his skill to lead others in a moment of adoration toward God.

On his Instagram post, he also thanked his wife Hailey for the support she gave him.

“I also want to thank my wife for being such a huge support in my life through this season. It says in the bible count it ALL JOY when you face trials of various kinds,” he added.

“Worship God”

Justin ended his Instagram post caption by telling how powerful worshiping God is!

“Sounds insane considering when u face trials u feel terrible. But if we are grateful and worship God for what we do have in that season there is so much power in that… whatever pain you are going through just keep telling yourself THIS WON’T LAST!”
